The Cost Accountant will be responsible for:
Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
Analyzing data collected and recording results
Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
Maintenance of cost records as per Accounting Standards relating to cost
Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
Maintaining Cost Accounting System
Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger
Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program
Reconciles finished goods inventories
The Cost Accountant will have the following qualifications:
Minimum of 3 solid years of Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Preferably A Cost Accountant Degree From The Institute of Cost & Works Accountant
Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
Computer Literate – Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word
Experience with MAPICS a plus
Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards
Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports

Cost Accountant
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by brand by customer type
Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory evaluation, inventory roll forward
Prepare collateral reporting
Coordinate with IT department for system issues, maintenance and development such as production, purchasing, import/export, accounts payable, accounts receivable, import/export IT, receiving, shipping, and other.
Assist in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 implementation
Analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories
Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls
Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory, liability accounts by customer type by division
Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability
Work in special projects as required
Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others
Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ARE:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 3 or more years of related experience
Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Cost Accounting Standards
Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis
Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data
Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products
Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves
Strong organizational and communicational skills
Detail oriented
Knowledge of JDE and ACS systems preferred
Apparel industry background preferred
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision

  1. Implement and monitor all activities relating to receipt, storage & dispatch /issue of materials including finished goods to all customers to meet production, Supply and site targets.

  11. Accountable for accuracy of physical Vs book stock in all areas under control
  12. To meet the quality/EHS objectives and ensure that all the departmental activities are carried out as per EHS/QMS guidelines
  13. Ensuring all regulatory requirements is met.
  14. Coach and develop skilled workforce
  15. Support and propagate culture conducive to implementation of innovation /QMS/ EHS in the department

Dist Coordinator (Neemrana Rajasthan)

Job Description

Be fully conversant with the role and duties of the Cluster Coordinator in order to supervise and guide him in the execution of his tasks.
• In the absence of the Cluster Coordinator for any reason whatsoever he will assume direct responsibility for execution of the given tasks for the schools within that cluster.
• For Material delivery most items being centrally procured would be delivered at the District Office. He will be responsible for the further delivery of materials from the District Office to respective schools in conjunction with the Materials representative at the State Office and will maintain a record of the same on the prescribed software. The Oracle Team at the Gurgaon office will train him for the same.
• IT Users would be intimating the IT Help Desk directly for assistance with regard to any IT related problem. In case it is not resolved by IT Help Desk this will be escalated to Gurgaon Office by the District Office.
• Intimate the State Office on the financial requirements towards payments for MDM, Didis and unforeseen operational expenses within his District. After making the necessary payments (through Cluster Coordinators) he will ensure timely submission of bills to the State Office.
• He will be the point of contact to escalate issues or problems not resolved by the IT Help Desk for users seeking assistance and will provide follow through with all cases that remain
• Support HR activities like CV generation of teachers within the District and assist in teacher’s recruitment drive.
• Serve as liaison to local & district administration in the development, monitoring, implementation and coordination of the proposed activities.
• Fund raising and local resource mobilization at the District level.
• Plan, organize and coordinate continuing community outreach programs and carry out liaison with village Sarpanch / Panchyat / local leaders.
• MIS and academic report compilation at the District level.
• VIP visits.

Ensure that all schools in the district move towards “A” grade in school report card
• Supervise and mentor the Cluster Coordinators of his District in the performance of their duties towards the academic, non-academic and administrative functions of the school.
• To carry out a trend analysis of academic and non-academic aspects so as to capture critical issues that may require mid-course corrections and bring these to the notice of the State Head.
• Represent Bharti Foundation at the District level.
